Although the name is borrowed from product design, the digital rapid prototyping process pioneered by Buro Happold does not involve the creation of physical prototypes. Instead, it uses bespoke computational tools to bring various discipline models and data sets from across project teams together within a single framework. This allows specialists to work together to make decisions based on complex performance outcomes.
